Atticus had a fantastic time last night catching lizards with Gavyn and MaKayla Russ. He keeps them in his peanut-butter-jar-turned-terrarium and was petting one on the way home from conference today.
We overheard him say, "Oh, my lizard is taking a nap. How cute."
Nervous sideways glances in the front seat.
"Oh, he woke up again. That was a quick nap."
Sighs of relief in the front seat.
